WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
“I had the opportunity to work with Rebecca Brooks on two major
projects with two different large health insurance corporations. The
first project, I served as a participant on a Team she led, and the second
major project as executive sponsor. I was instrumental in hiring Rebecca
as Project Manager for the second project due to my positive experience
from the first project. Both projects were of a process improvement nature
across functional lines of service.
Rebecca demonstrated her ability to bring organization, collaboration
and focus results to a group that started out with separate mindsets
and goals. Her strengths include her organizational abilities, instilling
elements of the value of teamwork and follow up, and her focus and people
skills.”
-Tom Talley, New Product and Strategy Planner, formerly NYLCare, now
Aetna
I worked directly with Ms. Brooks for nearly 2 years upon assuming responsibility for our Facilities Management Division. During that time Rebecca was instrumental in identifying and addressing issues that needed immediate attention in addition to wearing numerous facilities managerial hats until key positions were eventually filled.
During her tenure here Ms. Brooks was an important member of my senior management team working on various facilities projects. These included: streamlining our shop work order system, organizing inventory, departmental re-structuring, assisting with senior staff recruitment, revising job descriptions, JCAHO documentation and policy preparation, and working with our engineering staff to update and consolidate institutional engineering plans.
Rebecca is bright, articulate, insightful and hard working. She has a keen eye for detail, easily adapts to new situations and readily changes priorities as needed. I could make any request of Rebecca and be assured that her performance would be exemplary and her work product of the highest quality. In addition to superior management skills Rebecca also has a wonderful sense of humor, a quality which made her stay here even that much more enjoyable. It was truly a pleasure working with Rebecca and I highly recommend her services to anyone who is interested.

“I was faced with the challenge of implementing a new referral
management system for a newly integrated HMO within a few short weeks.
EHCO developed a clear, concise way to tackle the complex process management
and training issues associated with this project. ECHO worked with teams
of nurses to implement just-in-time actions as well as to design and
prioritize the operational steps needed to support our longer-term approach
and strategy.
Rebecca Brooks’ operational skills are excellent-- extremely organized
and detail oriented. Her communication and relationship style is very
open. She's very frank about what's going on, understands the politics
in any organization, and manages a good balance between the two. She
worked with staff level to executive level and worked successfully throughout
the entire organization. She's exceedingly committed and diligent; she's
not going to waste time.
-Karen Shipley, BSN, MHA, Former Director of Utilization Management,
HMO Blue
“I engaged Rebecca Brooks and Efficient Health
Care Operations to do an analysis of a busy primary care practice that
was seeking additional support staff. Through interviews and analysis
of physician and patient scheduling, Rebecca determined that there was
a misalignment between the numbers of physicians scheduled to see patients
and the numbers of support staff assigned to assist. She suggested
a reconfiguration that smoothed the flow of patients and the scheduling
of physicians evenly across all five days.
Rebecca was thoughtful and careful in her analysis and in her communications
with all practice staff. She was able to utilize existing data,
so staff didn’t have to collect anything “extra” to
help with her analysis. I would recommend Rebecca for similar systems
analysis. She understands the need for clinical practices to manage
costs while maintaining good patient satisfaction.”
