When should I call EHCO?
Sample situations: Many commonly encountered circumstances signal the
need for operational evaluation or change. Some examples are:
- Operational inefficiencies exist, whether due to cumbersome
or redundant processes, unsuitable organization, or increased volume/demand.
- New software is being implemented, and the organization wants to
document and improve processes before automation, so as not to "pave
the cow path."
- Cost savings are a constant part of health care, whether due to
regulatory limitations, reorganization/ merger, decreased demand/volume
or market changes.
- Facilitation is needed to work through an impasse, solve an operational
problem or build a stronger, more engaged team.
- The organization is undergoing major operational and/or organizational
change, and a structured change management plan is required to
ensure an orderly transition and avoid loss of key employees.
- Managers require assistance to solve a defined problem, to implement
a plan of action, or to respond to customers' complaints
or sentinel events.
